David & Max have each worked at a senior level for some of the leading firms in investment management in the course of careers in both Bull & Bear markets and they know this industry well. So when they were approached to establish a boutique Private Office in 2023 they were inspired to take a fresh approach to client service with a broader reach to a select clientele.
Our expertise is in investment management & financial markets and our interests are fully aligned with those of our clients; because our own family portfolios are also in the Eclipse private office.
So our mission is to deliver superior risk adjusted returns for all our clients with a highly bespoke service.

Why Eclipse
A total solar eclipse is a rare phenomenon that has always had special significance throughout history. Eclipse is also the name of the first recorded Thoroughbred racehorse in the General Stud Book started by James Weatherby in 1791. He was considered the greatest racehorse of his day and the expression “Eclipse first, the rest nowhere” entered the English vernacular as an expression of dominance. His progeny continue to dominate the sport to this day.
The word Eclipse encompasses two of Max’s passions astronomy and horse racing, “I never tire of studying the complexity and wonders of the cosmos and the thrill of a day at the races watching the power and grace of a thoroughbred racehorse pass the wining post”
